I just finished the first pass of my new Flickr based Photo Gallery. As I mentioned a couple of days ago, I was recently intrigued about using Yahoo's Flickr instead of Google's Picasa for various reasons. Although Flickr provides unlimited storage (although I'm a bit concerned that the 200 image photo stream limit will effect that API as well) but they cap the uploads per month to 100 megs. I think that is very reasonable for maintaining my account but since I have 400 megs or so to start with, I have a month or so to wait before I can switch over fully. This does provide a time frame to test out the new version.

Now that it is up, take a look and let me know what you think. The Flickr API seems to be much more robust than Picasa so I should be able to expand the gallery with the use of GeoLocation and tags much more than the existing gallery.
